Performers include Kasia Moś, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Janusz Radek, the Paweł Tomaszewski Band, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Maciej Tomasiewicz, Tomasz Konieczny, Lech Napierała and the Polish Royal Opera. During the Festival, Moniuszko's fans will find their favourite form of concerts from a recital of songs by the world-famous bass-baritone, through contemporary, entertaining and jazz arrangements of the best-known pieces from the Śpiewnik domowy (Home Songbook) to a monumental concert performance of Straszny dwór (The Haunted Manor). The concerts will take place at the Maria Koterbska Bielsko Cultural Centre.
Stanisław Moniuszko's music has been performed at the Festival many times before, but this year, for the second time, it will be presented in a monographic formula, in which every music lover will find a proposal for themselves. In addition, many artists will be hosted in Bielsko-Biała for the first time. Tomasz Konieczny will come to the Festival straight from Vienna, and the Polish Royal Opera will come from the Royal Łazienki.
The evening concerts will be complemented by accompanying events in the morning - an educational concert by the Bielsko Music Society on 10 October and a concert by the Choirs and Orchestra of the S. Moniuszko State Music School on 11 October.
